18x Pipeline

If you're reading this, you or your soldier are a part of the 18X pipeline!

What is 18X?

18X is a Special Forces candidate contract that guarantees the opportunity to “try out” for Special Forces.

The pipeline includes the following training: 22 weeks of Infantry Basic Training, 3 weeks of Airborne school, 6 weeks of Special Forces Preparation Course, Special Forces Assessment and Selection, and Special Forces Qualification Course.

In the following posts, I will discuss mine and my husband's journey through the pipeline. Mainly discussing timelines, explaining what you/your soldier will be doing or going through, and what all to expect as a military spouse or family member.
